Sometimes, when words evade us, art can help say what our minds simply cannot access in times of trauma. Today is one of those days.

We are feeling heartbroken and helpless as the American system once again rears its ugly head and shows that people of color -- especially Black Americans -- are 'less than' in the eyes of many people in power.

This blatant bigotry, hate, and prejudice MUST COME TO AN END.

Until there is justice, there will be no peace.

​

What else can we say besides we wish we could do more to take away the pain of the oppressed. Our song "I Don't Know Your Pain" was written months ago as a proclamation of our alliance with our brothers and sisters in the Black community. Our hearts have only expanded since then. And our defense of our Black friends and family has only grown in ferocity as a product of the recent events.

Our album isn’t set to release until June 5th, but we have chosen to release this song early as an offering in exchange for donations to our fundraiser.

For George Floyd, and all of the other souls lost to senseless abuse of power, we ask that, if you are able, please donate to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.
